'I don't smell the title' - Conte wants Chelsea focus

Premier League leaders Chelsea can not afford to become complacent during the title run-in and must target victories to stay clear at the top, manager Antonio Conte said ahead of his side's trip to Manchester United on Sunday.

It meant the leaders had secured a second victory of the week and ended the day where they started it, with a seven-point lead over second-placed Tottenham. We are having a good season, but we want it to become a great season. We have to continue in this way game by game, to be focused and to concentrate.

"For me it is not about them, it is about us". I like the pressure, to live with pressure. "If I don't see pressure, I put pressure on", he said.

The 47-year-old is on course to win the Blues a fifth league title with seven matches remaining impressing Carragher in the process. "By winning we squeeze the breath out of the challengers", Nevin added. Last season Chelsea played for 10th position.

"It's easier to control the game when you score first but at the end of the first half we were a little bit down".

Chelsea took home all three points from an end-to-end encounter in the south coast, but the scoreline does not do justice to the Cherries' efforts and spirit.

"After the result against Crystal Palace where we didn't deserve to lose, we could have dropped points against City and then against Bournemouth". Instead we won both games.

David Moyes has no problems with Sunderland fans
Moyes, who revealed Jones had been taken to hospital for checks, but was conscious, said: "I thought we played well today". The club's goal drought ended after 701 tortuous minutes when Wahbi Khazri's corner caught the win and flew in.

"It's very important for us to look at ourselves and not the others. We must have the same desire". Don't forget that last season they played for the title and we were tenth, so they are a really good team. However, he has been very important for the team throughout the entire season.

However, Conte did agree that the battle for the title was now a two-horse race involving his side and London rivals Spurs. What's amusing for us is the fervor with which they pin their hopes to Spurs just twelve months after gleefully dancing on their graves as Leicester City confirmed their most unlikely triumph.

The Premier League era is littered with epic collapses from teams who thought the title was theirs and, with Chelsea needing 18 points to be certain of top spot, Blues midfielder Cesc Fabregas isn't getting carried away yet.

City took the lead just past the half hour when Jesus Navas' cross was turned into his own net by Ahmed Elmohamady, then Sergio Aguero doubled the lead three minutes into the second half.

"I'm happy with his performance", Conte said. At the moment Diego is not scoring but he is totally involved in the team and our idea of football.

"But, for the main, we defended them well and Artur [Boruc] was relatively untroubled until the free-kick which was a brilliant goal from their perspective".
