Google Home could soon support multiple accounts

Google Home could soon support multiple accounts

A new update to the Google Home app is alerting people that "multiple users are now supported".

Multiple user support for Google Home could be coming to users soon.

In theory, Google Home would recognize your voice and immediately switch over to your preferred Google account. If one list happens to get too large, you can always create another one and set it as the default one while simultaneously sharing any of your existing lists with other users.

Google Home chose to add support for multiple users. If you haven't guessed it yet, it's multi-user login support.

As of now, we aren't actually seeing a way to attach multiple users to a Google Home, so it could be that this card showed up prematurely (EDIT: As I was typing this story out, the card disappeared.).

NYC Uber driver thankful video of threatening woman went viral
The woman threatened to "violate him" and threatened to tell police, "you're raping me". Uber has said that the woman has been banned from making use of their services.

One of the prominent difficulties with Google Home is the absence of multi-user support. Echo is also a smart speaker with enabling voice assistant. You can simply add something to the list and be taken there, access the list through a Favourite in your browser, or open up the Google Home, slide out the Nav drawer and hit "Shopping List".

Setting reminders, any calendar events are all unique to everyone, and with user authentication, Google home can pull out your personal details and reminders for you.

Google Home needs to address these concerns and add the benefits of shared access to make the new feature more useful. Nobody wants to come home to their children having ordered sweets and toys through Google Home without their permission. The fact that Google Assistant can be used to order stuff through Google Express on Google Home devices implies that the search engine giant may well face similar issues of multiple users being able to order from the same account.

"It is not officially launched yet; it is some announcement that we have to let our users know about the next update that we will release would allow multiple users".
