Homicide Charges Against Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka Have Been Dropped

Homicide Charges Against Jimmy

He went into home hospice care in October and was moved to in-hospital hospice care at Broward Medical North near his home in Florida on December 17.

A Lehigh County, Pa. judge has dropped homicide charges against former pro wrestler Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, who had been accused in 2013 of murdering his girlfriend Nancy Argentino 34 years ago.

Snuka's lawyer revealed in court last month that the 73-year-old is suffering from dementia, and believes that he is still a wrestler.

Prosecutors previously argued Snuka's brain shows normal signs of aging and suggested he might be feigning symptoms.

The decision comes after Snuka's attorney Robert Kirwin filed a motion for dismissal following the ruling that Snuka was found to be incompetent to stand trial.

According to WFMZ, Lehigh County Judge Kelly Banach chose to drop the charges against 73-year-old Snuka during an unscheduled hearing because the former wrestler's medical condition has not improved since he was previously found incompetent to stand trial.

Russian diplomats who were expelled by Obama left Washington on Sunday, Russian news agencies reported , citing Russia's embassy. Senator Tom Cotton, a Republican from Arkansas, said on "Fox News Sunday" that Obama's sanctions were not enough.

Argentino was discovered in a hotel room near Allentown, Pennsylvania, lying on her back on a bed unconscious and showing indications of a head injury and shock.

Snuka also suffered from a bout of stomach cancer before he was charged in 2015.

In his autobiography, Snuka denied harming his ex-girlfriend, writing: "I never hit Nancy or threatened her".

"We're considering our options and will decide at the appropriate time what action we'll take", the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office said in a statement.

Banach told the court on Tuesday that Snuka's condition was too severe and that she would need to drop the charges.
